All of us at Tupelo Honey are thrilled to have played a small part in sending some sweet, complimentary pie love from state side, and we want to thank everyone who sent in a soldier’s name or who donated a pie. We would be remiss if we didn’t point out that the reason we were able to initiate Operation Tupelo Pies is because our owners Steve and Jen Frabitore just do like to do this sort of thing – because it’s the right thing to do. We’re hoping to send out more care packages in the very near future – maybe for Mother’s Day or Father’s Day?
To all of our soldiers overseas, job well done!
