Can’t wait!

By now, you’ve probably heard Tupelo Honey Cafe is opening a new restaurant in Knoxville, Tennessee, in the summer of 2012! To say we are excited is an understatement. We’re looking at floor plans in the lovely Oliver Hotel and getting ready to meet our Market Square neighbors. (If you have a chance to stay in this newly restored historic hotel, do so. You could park an 18-wheeler in the beautifully appointed and comfortable guest rooms.) Many of you Knoxvillians have reached out to us Ashevillians with welcoming arms already and we appreciate you.

We strive to bring the same delicious fare, great service and scratch-made fun and flavor to the Volunteer State (and the Volunteers’ town). We will bring our signature dishes, including Sweet Potato Pancakes with Spiced Pecans and Peach Butter, our Appalachian Egg Rolls, our Shrimp and Goat Cheese Grits with Roasted Red Pepper Sauce, and our Fried Chicken BLT, to name a few. And of course, we’ll bring breakfast – all day long!

A little later in the spring, we’ll hold a job fair so we’ll hopefully get to meet and get to know lots of folks. Please stay tuned for more information on that idea.

In the meantime, thank you for what already feels like a warm and friendly howdy.
