The original Tupelo Honey Cafe, located in the heart of downtown Asheville, NC was born in 2000, at the intersection of the Paris of the South and Southern Appalachia. Steeped in traditions of creativity on every corner, our mother ship and its commitment to full flavors and scratch-made, inventive fare shape and guide our food attitude, wherever you find us. In 2010, we opened a second restaurant in the south end of Asheville and in 2012, we are opening a sister restaurant in Knoxville, Tennessee in the historic Oliver Hotel on Market Square in the city's charming downtown.
With an earnest commitment to creativity with our cookery and conviviality around our collective table, Tupelo Honey Cafe understands the importance of friends and family gathered together, sharing great food and fun stories. Our fare, while innovative and inspired, is also rooted in Southern Appalachian traditions.
